Munich/Lübeck – There was great relief in Giesing on Saturday evening.
Under the new coach Argirios Giannikis, TSV 1860 has won again in the 3rd league after four defeats in a row and has gained breathing room in the fight to stay in the league.
The Lions beat penultimate MSV Duisburg 4-1 in the stadium on Grünwalder Straße.
Just three days later, the Blues are challenged again.
During the English week the team travels to VfB Lübeck.
The newcomer narrowly won the basement duel against Waldhof Mannheim at the start of 2024 2-1.
Striker Robin Velasco turned the home game against the Kurpfälzer on Saturday afternoon with two late goals and ensured VfB's second win in a row.
