Fans will receive answers to these questions from March 2, 2024, when the season opens in Bahrain.

It was clear from the announcement of F1's return to free-to-air television that the first Grand Prix of the year would be broadcast on free TV.

It is now clear which six other races will be broadcast on free TV.

After the Bahrain GP, ​​the fans will have to be patient.

The Hungarian race will not be broadcast again by RTL until July 21st.

Seven Formula 1 races will be shown live on free TV in 2024.

Formula 1 on RTL: Many broadcasts from the end of July to mid-September

The other Grands Prix on free TV are Belgium (July 28th), Netherlands (August 25th), Monza (September 1st), Azerbaijan (September 15th) and Las Vegas (November 24th).

In addition to the races on Sunday, the qualifying sessions on Saturday will also be shown live on the Cologne TV station.

But that's not all: On five more Saturdays, the race on Sunday will not be shown live on free-to-air television, but the qualifying or sprint race on Saturday will be shown live on free-to-air television.

On the twelve remaining weekends, Saturday can be seen on the paid streaming service RTL+.
