There is a scandal in FC Bayern's Bundesliga game against Union.
Berlin coach Nenad Bjelica slaps Leroy Sané.
Munich – distance shortened: FC Bayern won 1-0 (0-0) against Union Berlin on Wednesday evening and, with 44 points, has moved back to within four points of league leaders Bayer Leverkusen (48 points).
Red card against Nenad Bjelica: Union coach gives Leroy Sané a slap in the face
Aside from Raphael Guerreiro's decisive goal (46th minute), a slap in the face by guest coach Nenad Bjelica against Munich attacker Leroy Sané (75th) was the big excitement of the catch-up game in the Allianz Arena.
The 52-year-old Croatian coach was then shown a red card by referee Frank Willenborg.
This is what happened: Sané wanted to get the ball from Bjelica before a throw-in.
But the Berlin coach didn't reveal this.
A heated exchange of words followed, whereupon the former Bundesliga professional slapped the German international.
He slapped the 28-year-old attacker, as they say in Munich.

After Bjelica's action against Sané, there was a hectic scuffle and a commotion between players and staff from both teams in front of the Berlin bench.
Referee Willenborg also showed Sané a yellow card.
For the Bayern professional it was the third warning of this 2023/24 season.
