The American now explained what everyday life is like for the superstars.

Melbourne – She is one of the greatest German athletes of all time and, together with Boris Becker, triggered a real boom in the eighties and nineties.

Steffi Graf was and is a tennis idol - no wonder with an incredible 22 Grand Slam titles.

The Mannheim native is now 54 years old.

Unlike other former stars of the scene, she likes to stay away from the spotlight - Graf rarely appears in public and also keeps an extremely low profile on social media.

Her husband Andre Agassi works a little differently.

On the sidelines of the current Australian Open, where Alexander Zverev made it to the quarterfinals, Agassi has now given insights into his life with the German tennis legend.

Agassi explained in the

Eurosport

interview: “She just has it.

Just like always.

She beats me in everything.

It's perfect.

I like hitting balls and she likes running.

She turns it into a training session and I just hit a few balls.” The German and the American, himself a former world-class tennis player, have been married since 2001.

In the interview, Agassi also revealed how the everyday lives of the two former superstars are regulated - and he also discussed a typically German virtue that Graf lives out.

"Steffi doesn't need an alarm clock - she's the alarm clock," said Agassi with a laugh: "That's 'German engineering', German thoroughness - she's always on time."

Andre Agassi on Steffi Graf: “She’s in top shape early in the morning”

According to Agassi, Graf gets up between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. every day, and he gets up “a few minutes” later.

“I start the day a little more leisurely, but she is in top shape early in the morning,” said Agassi: “We enjoy spending time together in the morning hours.”

Most recently, Graf and Agassi appeared with a photo together on Instagram.
