Summary: Chelsea - Middlesbrough 1:6/Sport1
The games of the fourth round, the last 32 of the FA Cup, started yesterday (Thursday), but reached their climax this evening with the big game between Tottenham and Manchester City, which ended with a dramatic victory for the latter.
Tottenham - Manchester City 1:0
Character of a champion: For 88 minutes, Manchester City were the more dangerous and quality team among the titans, and in the end secured their ticket to the last 16 by the teeth, with a dramatic goal that gave them their first away win against Tottenham since October 2018. Without Erling Holland, Pep Guardiola once again turned to new super-sub Kevin de Brauna who came off the bench in the 65th minute to turn the game around.
After heavy pressure in the minutes after the Belgian's entry, Nathan Ake pushed home the winning goal in the 88th minute after a mistake by Vicario, allowing the cup holder to dream of repeating the feat.
The course of the game:
minute 5: Manchester City almost went up to a quick 0:1.
Walker sent a sharp cross, Foden continued and Vicario headed it to the feet of Oscar Bob who rolled into the net, but it was inches apart.
13th minute: Julián Albers took a flat kick from 25 meters, Vicario had no trouble stopping.
City completely dominate the first minutes.
35th minute: The pace has calmed down in London.
Tottenham entered the game, but have not yet created scoring situations.
Minute 42: A dangerous attack by City.
Bob found himself free in the box and kicked from a diagonal angle, Tottenham cleared for a corner before it went into the net.
48th minute: Another miss by City.
Bob gave a measured ball to Alvarez in the box, but the Argentinian kicked from 10 meters out.
53rd minute: Timo Werner's dizzying break almost made it 0:1 for Tottenham, but Ortega did well and stopped Brennan Johnson before it was allowed.
66th minute: Kevin de Brauna came off the bench and immediately introduced a breath of fresh air.
Foden's cross was deflected by a Tottenham defender and almost bounced into the net, but went wide of the post.
80th minute: City press.
Bernardo Silva received a ball in the center of the box, but his shot went to the center of the goal and Vicario made a save.
81st minute: Huge miss by City.
Hoyberg lost in a flurry and De Braune kicked from 11 meters near the post.
Missing is not typical for a Belgian.
88th minute: Goal!
After minutes of pressure, City does justice.
De Brauna picked up a corner, Vicario dropped after pressure from Diaz and Nathan Ake was there to push into the net from close range.
0:1 to City.
And rightly so.

Chelsea - Aston Villa 0:0
Another big meeting to be held in London will take place at Stamford Bridge, when Chelsea will try to take a step towards another final this season, three days after defeating Middlesbrough 1:6 en route to the League Cup final.
The injured Malo Gusto and Christopher Ankonko will be missed by the Blues, who, among other things, have to do without Nicholas Jackson in the African Championship, but will hope to continue to benefit from the good ability of Cole Palmer and the suitor Ben Chilwell.
The guest, with a slight decrease in ability, won only five of their last ten games in all formats, but will hope to repeat the result of the last two meetings with Chelsea - they beat them 0:2 in April and in September of this season 0:1 in two meetings at Stamford Bridge.
Pau Torres, who was supposed to return to the lineup, is still ineligible due to the ankle injury.
Fulham - Newcastle (Saturday, 21:00, Sport1)
The Magpies achieved only two victories in the last ten games - they beat Sunderland away in the third round of the cup and beat Fulham 0:3 at home on December 16.
After a rest of almost two weeks, which was critical for a team that suffered a lot of injuries and its players were worn out, Eddie Howe's players will again hope to defeat the Cottagers who are coming off the back of a 1-1 home draw against Liverpool on Wednesday, a result that was not enough for them to qualify for the League Cup final.
