This WTT Star Contenter in Goa is a third-tier tournament globally after the WTT Grand Smash and the WTT Champions.
Last October, the nephew of the former Musketeer Christophe Legoût won the WTT Contender in Antalya (Turkey), a fourth division tournament.
This new major victory bodes well six months almost to the day of the start of the Paris Olympic Games (July 26 to August 11, 2024).
Before this final, Félix Lebrun had only lost one round in four main draw matches.
In this tournament, his brother Alexis, 22nd player in the world, was eliminated in the round of 16… just before a possible reunion in the quarters against his younger brother.
