On October 7, Roy Monder was murdered in Nir Oz.
Roy was one of Liverpool's biggest fans in Israel and was even commemorated with a flag that was removed at Anfield, an ugly act for which the club later apologized.
Roy's nephew, Ohad Monder Zachary, was released from Hamas captivity in the hostage deal at the end of November, and the League Cup final that took place on Sunday was for him an opportunity to come full circle - watching the Liverpool game that Roy loved so much.
Niv Debrat, Sport1 messenger in London, accompanied the fan on the exciting day, which ended in the sweetest way for him.
