Manuel Neuer from FC Bayern: Tricky injuries in recent years
For a long time it was unclear whether the 2014 world champion would even return to the football field in this form and condition.
At the beginning of December 2022, Neuer suffered a complicated fracture of his lower leg while ski touring not far from his home Tegernsee in the Mangfall Mountains in Bavaria.
The long-time Bayern player also suffered tricky metatarsal fractures twice in a row in 2017.
