Djokovic has been coached by the 2001 Wimbledon winner since 2018 and has won twelve of his career's twenty-four Grand Slam titles under his guidance.
“As for the search for a new coach, I don't have a precise idea and I don't know if there will be one
,” said the Serb.
“I have always had coaches by my side since I was young. I try to think about what could be good for me.”
At 36, the Serbian had a mediocre start to the 2024 season by his high standards, losing in the semi-final of the Australian Open to eventual winner, Italian Jannik Sinner.
He then lost in the third round at Indian Wells against another Italian player, Luca Nardi (96th in the world), which led him to withdraw from the Masters 1000 in Miami, to spare himself.
