While Leicester's men's team is having a great season and is racing towards a return to the Premier League, the club's women's team is dealing with a sex scandal. The team's coach, Willie Kirk, was fired after allegedly having an affair with one of his players.
Kirk, 45, was suspended earlier this month by the club following suspicions that arose over the matter, with the Scottish coach absent from the sidelines for the last three games. "Willy violated the club's code of conduct at a level that makes it difficult for him to continue his role," the club said.

After Kirk's suspension, assistant manager Jennifer Foster and first-team coach Stephen Kirby managed the team in the FA Women's Cup quarter-final against Liverpool on March 9 and will man the lines until a permanent manager is appointed.
The decision to fire Kirk comes after further criticism and condemnations of relationships between players and coaches. In February, Jonathan Morgan, the former Leicester manager, was sacked by Sheffield United after "new information came to light about his conduct" before he joined the club. Morgan's former agency ended the relationship with him and said in a statement that it "learned new information about Jonathan Morgan and a relationship with an actress."
