The team that wins at the Palais des Sports Marcel-Cerdan in Levallois, this Friday at 9 p.m., will qualify for the final of the French Women's Volleyball Championship.
This semi-final series between Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud and the Alsatian team is extremely indecisive. Last Saturday, Mulhouse won the first round, on the Franciliennes pitch, at the end of an intense game (1-3). The American Carli Snyder had, as often, had a great match, to the point of being elected MVP of the game. She was well supported by Cameroonian Christelle Nana and her fiery left arm.

During the second round played in Mulhouse, the Mariannes 92 were playing for survival. A defeat would have condemned them, and the Alsatians would therefore have booked their ticket for the final. Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud started their match perfectly, with two sets won from the start. If Alessandro Orefice's players scared themselves, since Mulhouse pulled back to 2-2, they ended up winning the tie-break (2-3) and offering themselves a support match. Carried, in particular, by the Slovak Karin Palgutova and her 28 points.
The show promises to be very close again this Friday at the Palais des Sports Marcel-Cerdan. This support match takes place in Levallois, since the team finished ahead of Mulhouse in the regular season standings. The Ile-de-France women were ranked second, while the Alsatians were one place behind.
In the final, the team qualified at the end of this support match will join Nantes. The regular season leader, big favorite for the championship and already winner of the Coupe de France, eliminated Le Cannet in two games in their semi-final.
