Can you tell us about this last action?
Camille Lopez
: “First, I’m going to talk about us. The first responsibility is us. We get the ball, there are thirty seconds left to play. We have three small piles to do, hit the line-out and finish the match. And we didn't get there. It's our responsibility. Afterwards, we are not the only ones responsible for this last action. This is only my immediate reaction and my thoughts but I think there is a mistake even if I will watch it cold on the video. On one of the last rucks, our first support is cleared before our ball carrier even goes to the ground. It's forbidden. We ask the video to verify but... There are enough means in place now to overlook this type of action.
The referee didn't want to check the action?
The referees undoubtedly spoke together. I was talking with Mathieu Raynal who was the linesman and then we said to ourselves that they should talk together. I'm not a referee but hey... The immediate reaction is hard. But you have to understand that there are issues. We are playing for a stay in the Top 14, when we see the complexity of the championship, if we had had three more points today, I would have had a smile.
How do you explain these two very different faces between the first and second periods?
I have no explanation. But it is certain that we showed two faces. In the first half, we do interesting things and in the second there is nothing left. We didn't see the ball in the second half. We were completely beside the point, we suffered. Despite everything, we showed a good state of mind, especially after our big defeat against Toulon the previous day. I'm proud of the team tonight because we showed some great things. We had earned the right to come and win with the leader.
We see you discussing with the referee, what do you say to him?
I told him it was scandalous not to check it, not to come back to it. It is not possible. They don't realize the issues behind it. It's frustrating on a last action like that where, for us, there is a fault. Maybe they'll explain the opposite to me but... Now it's done.
