But more interesting than the exterior design is the packaging of this car. In the new GLA driver environment, the Mercedes MBUX system, with digital dashboard display and multimedia screen that allow driver and display information to be customized, color display, navigation combined with the front camera to create a layered reality, voice operating system and more. The display size varies from 7 inches to 10.25 inches depending on finish levels.
The safety systems include familiar measures such as automatic braking, correction of deviation from the lane, vehicle tracking in front, adaptive cruise control with adaptability to changing traffic situations, intersections and speed signs, and vehicle warning in "dead area". He also adds some new systems in Mercedes, including identifying pedestrian crossings and warning if the pedestrian intends to cross and the driver does not slow down, alerting a passing vehicle or bicycle while the car is parked, turning on braking distress lights for traffic congestion and more.
Another new feature in GLA is the "flush mode", which has already been introduced in GLS. At this push of a button, the car prepares itself for flushing with all windows and the sun closed, folding mirrors, silencing proximity sensors, stopping automatic wipers operation and moving the air conditioning into circulation mode.

The GLA propulsion will be commanded by the four-cylinder Mercedes. At this point, the company talks about two of the 1.3-liter jointly developed with Renault-Nissan and will power the 200-liter and 2.0-liter engine for the GLA 35 4MATIC AMG sports version.
The first engine with 163 hp and 25.5 kg will come in front-wheel drive and with a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox. The speed of 100 km / h takes 8.7 seconds and the maximum speed is 210 km / h.

The dual paddle system is different from the outgoing generation. Here, too, the system is used to distribute the torque between the axes, but this time using a clutch system in electronic operation, unlike the hydraulic system in the past. Benefits include faster, non-rpm independent integration (already combinable), reduced weight, on-site savings and less power loss.
The power distribution ranges from 80:20 in favor of the front axle in saving / comfort mode, 70:30 in sport mode to 50:50 in space mode which should simulate a central lock.
