The 3D i-Cockpit concept is not new and has been accompanying the manufacturer's passenger compartments for several years, but in 2008 Peugeot introduced the fourth generation in front of the driver's eyes a spectacular dashboard with a clear three-dimensional display that takes exactly three seconds to get used to and from there it has been Incredibly comfortable including the intuitive interface that skips between displays with a finger command.

The electric seats are comfortable and supportive, the small steering wheel is small and comfortable to the touch and only the threshold of the raised door at the entrance looks a bit awkward and unnecessary. The seats in the back as mentioned are spacious and also suitable for two large adults and overall, the interior of the vehicle, pleasant and very successful.

Which engine would you like for you?

All of the above is moving through one of the three possible propulsion units, gasoline, diesel or electric, and the good news for the local market is that all three come to Israel.

The maximum travel range is 310 km according to the WLTP standard and can reach 80% of the battery (50 kWh) in half an hour. The price of course is not yet published but it will be interesting to see if the importer will give the buyers of the electric version a home charging stand as they did with the MG ZS EV.

Rotation between the vineyards

A spacious compact family car is not judged by its accelerations from the scene but for intermediate and safe acceleration all engines knew to give enough power available in the throttle command. In favor of the insistents, it is said that the gasoline version that produces 155 horsepower will accelerate from zero to 100 in 8.2 seconds (0.9 seconds faster than 130 kW) and the maximum speed is 198-208 km / h respectively. The intermediate accelerations in the senior version are not bad at all, the gearbox is excellent and also in the weaker version we did not need special prayers to come out and complete agile and safe indirect.

The diesel engine 130 horsepower jumps up to 100 km / h in 9.3 seconds and stabilizes at a maximum speed of 195 km / h.
