These are two clans that confront each other by verbal jousts interposed, arranged behind their idols. On the one hand, "the Sadek team", nickname of Sadok Bourguiba, a 28-year-old rapper from Neuilly-Plaisance (Seine-Saint-Denis). The clips of this gold disc holder garner millions of "views" on YouTube. On the other, the "Hlib team", gathered around the blogger Bassem Braïki. At 39, this "influencer" of the Lyon suburbs has a large community acquired with his caustic comments on current events.
But on February 11, in Vénissieux (Rhône), it was no longer a question of words but of fists. Sadek is accused of having, along with three accomplices, beat Bassem Braïki outside his home. The shocking attack was filmed and broadcast on social networks. It costs the victim hospitalization in serious condition and 10 days of ITT. Arrested the next day, Sadek is indicted on February 14 for "aggravated violence" and placed in pre-trial detention.
"Anger has taken over, regrets the fallen rapper in police custody. I have absolutely no control over my movements. One of his friends, Oumar D., is also indicted and imprisoned. While the other two attackers, including Sadek and Oumar D. have your identity, are still wanted.
Sadek denounces daily harassment

Except that the dispute between Sadek and Bassem Braïki is deeper and arises from their cultural and ideological differences. “The rapper, who enjoys a strong reputation, has advocated a social and racial mix since its inception. If this does not in any way justify the aggression suffered, Bassem Braïki is indeed a controversial polemicist, adulated but also criticized for certain misogynist and racist protrusions. The 30-year-old has been sued several times for “provoking hatred” and “insults on the grounds of race”. He distinguished himself for his dubious remarks against homosexuals and the mix between "Blacks" and "Arabs", considering the latter of a "superior race".
According to the investigation, Bassem Braïki had taken Sadek for several months. "I advocate dialogue, tolerance, assures the rapper in police custody. While Braïki calls for the extermination of what he calls the weak Maghrebis of the capital. He discredits me with his community which is only growing. "And the artist describes a daily cyber harassment:" The attacks are more and more violent and have consequences on my life. Impossible to go out with my family in public […] I receive messages indicating that I am a whore and that soon I will go to the ANPE . Tired of being mocked on the Internet, he claims to have filed a complaint in January.
According to Bassem, Sadek wants to make him "wear the hat"
It was the cancellation of his concert scheduled in Saint-Priest (Rhône), on February 8, which would have ignited the powder. The day before, the rapper learns from the organizers that they give up maintaining his performance because of the numerous death threats targeting him on social networks. In front of the investigators, the blogger denies any implication and accuses his rival of "wanting to make him wear the hat".

Ulcerated, the rapper tries to explain himself with Bassem Braïki by private messages. “The situation went far too far. So he would have decided to leave the night of February 11 by car with three friends in the direction of Bassem Braiki's home in Vénissieux.
"I turned around, I was on the ground"
The rapper denies having intended from the outset to commit a punitive expedition. The idea of making a video of the blogger's apologies is mentioned. Arriving in Lyon, around 4:05 am, Sadek would have discovered "a Snapchat story" in which Bassem Braïki treats his spouse as "queen of the p ****" and reveals the city where his step-parents live. From then on, his blood would have only gone one round.
Arrived at Vénissieux, Sadek and his friends set up an implacable ambush for the blogger. Carpet in its underground parking lot, they wait for their target to come home from work at night. "He doesn't know we're here," they strut in a video, filming his mailbox. A few minutes later Bassem Baïki, dressed in a dark blue jacket, parks his vehicle. The quartet immediately melts on him. While one filmed the scene, the other three punched and kicked him, including on the ground. One uses a telescopic baton.
“When I received the first blow on the head, I turned around, I was on the ground. […] I protected my head with my hands, I cannot say how long the assault lasted ”, tells Bassem Braïki to the investigators. One of the attackers draws a handgun and shoots at the victim without touching him. The quartet, perky, then resumed the road to Paris. In a video, we see Sadek showing off his bloody hands. And we hear voices singing "Eh-oh, we're coming home from work" ...
"I know my music career is over"
The next afternoon, Sadek was arrested in Bagnolet (Seine-Saint-Denis) when he was about to surrender to the police. "I was remorseful, realizing the ridiculous bad example that I left with the videos of the attack," he laments in police custody. I know that my musical career is definitely over. I regret that all of this ended in violence ”.
His lawyer, Me Arié Alimi, denounces "the inaction of the public authorities in the event of cyber harassment.
