Munich (dpa / tmn) - In spring, convertible fans, motorcyclists or oldie friends are particularly keen on the first tours and excursions of the year. But this year everything is different in the shadow of the corona pandemic. In some federal states, such leisure trips are currently prohibited, reports the ADAC. This is to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Even where they are theoretically still possible, the auto club generally advises against green trips and jaunts. Rather, all trips should now be limited to the essentials. And that also applies to trips with the normal everyday vehicle.
For example, motorcyclists, for example, would no longer be able to keep the safety distance when driving on known routes and resting at meeting points there.
Countries such as Bavaria or Berlin with exit restrictions have prohibited such pure pleasure tours. They are still allowed in federal states where only a ban on contact applies. However, despite the spring weather and trips that are still permitted in some places, the club advocates staying at home for the coming days and weeks. Alternative: walks and sports with the permitted people and with a safe distance in the vicinity.
Strict exit restrictions currently apply in Bavaria, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg, Berlin and Saarland. Anyone who wants to leave the apartment here needs an important reason that must be made credible during checks, according to the ADAC. In other countries there is only a ban on contact. An important reason to leave the apartment is not necessary.
