France lists 8,078 people who have died from COVID-19 since the start of the epidemic, according to announcements from the Directorate General of Health (DGS), including 5,889 in hospitals and 2,189 in nursing homes and other establishments medical-social.
This represents 357 more hospital deaths in the past 24 hours, the DGS said in a press release.
As a major indicator, the DGS has 140 more resuscitation entries since yesterday, a balance " which remains positive but is gradually reducing ", according to the press release, bringing the number of patients in intensive care to 6,978.
