Google has unveiled a new tool that shows which social remote countries really work. Google collects location data from our mobile devices, sometimes without our knowledge, and knows where we are at any given moment. Google now uses our information to help governments and health organizations see the impact of the new guidelines.

And if you're surprised, you should know that Google knows where you were at any given moment even before the closure - whether it's in the park, at the beach, in the movies, at the supermarket, at work, or at home. Overall, reports from 131 different countries can be viewed, and Google emphasizes that the site shows the exact number of people, or personal information, but the overall trend.

We are attentive to the guidelines

The data for Israel are based on information collected from February 16 to March 29. The comparison claims against the average as measured between January 3 and February 6, before the outbreak of the epidemic. And what can we learn about us? In Israel, there was a 67 percent drop in visits to cafes, shopping malls, libraries, cinemas and restaurants.

Even before the data, public transport (buses and trains) dropped by 61 percent compared to a regular day, and by 59 percent when traveling to our workplaces. Alongside this, there is a 13 percent drop in drugstore and grocery store visits, and 56 percent in daytime, park, and public garden visits.

The most interesting figure is the length of stay in the residential area, with a 30 percent increase from a normal day before the outbreak of the epidemic, which shows that Israelis are indeed attentive to the new Ministry of Health guidelines and instructions - and remain in homes.
