More than 610 patients in critical condition have, since March 18, been evacuated from the Grand Est and Île-de-France, by medical TGV, by plane or by helicopter, to the less affected western regions. The Pays-de-la-Loire region has 181 intensive care patients, including 37 from Île-de-France and 15 from the Grand Est region. Brittany, which had received 42 patients, received 41 additional Ile-de-France patients on Sunday, dispatched between the hospitals of Vannes, Lorient, Quimper, Rennes, Saint-Malo, Morlaix and Brest.
“We immediately volunteered to receive patients, when we saw the difficulties of our colleagues. It is beneficial for the patients, it is an additional chance.
