A 14-year-old teenager who was driving in Clermont-Ferrand killed himself in the night from Monday to Tuesday while trying to escape from police control, reports France Bleu. An investigation is underway into these events which occurred in the city center around 3 am.
The young man, who was carrying a passenger, reportedly turned around after seeing a police vehicle. He would have turned off the headlights of his car and accelerated before embedding himself a few hundred in the wall of a shop, a few hundred meters further, specifies the radio. The passenger, 16, was slightly injured.
According to initial reports, the two adolescents were already known to the police.
