The body of a 55-year-old woman rolled up in a blanket was discovered at her home in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) last weekend. His companion was placed in police custody, reveals Ocean Press.
Alerted by a relative who was worried about not having any news for four months, the police went, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, to the home of the disappeared, located at the Pablo-Picasso mall. On the spot, only the companion of the fifties was present, drunk.
On the apartment's terrace, the police discovered the victim's body, wrapped in a blanket, under a table. No trace of blood or any weapon were found on the spot.
Dead for several weeks?
The death could go back several weeks, even several months. An autopsy was carried out, but the Nantes public prosecutor's office did not wish to communicate the results, said Presse Océan. Additional analyzes were carried out.
At the end of his police custody, the victim's companion was presented to an investigating judge, Monday evening, for his indictment for murder. His detention on remand was requested.
