Facebook employees plan to retake CEO Mark Zuckerberg's inaction over US President Donald Trump's publicity on social networks. By a police officer.

The strike is planned in response to Zuckerberg's statement that he will not take any action on a series of controversial posts by President Trump last week, CNN told the source of the planned strike details.

According to CNN, Facebook employees are planning to take a day off as a sign of protest, and Facebook executives have been instructed by the company's human resources department not to take action against the protesters and not force them to take a paid day off.

Jason Stearman, a Facebook design director, said he disagrees with Zuckerberg's decision to do nothing about Trump's recent posts. "I'm not alone on Facebook. There is no neutral stance on racism," Stearman tweeted over the weekend.

Andrew Crowe, another Facebook design director, "Providing a platform to incite violence and disseminate misinformation is unacceptable. I disagree with Mark's position and will act to bring about change."

A Facebook spokesman told CNN: "We recognize the pain many of our people are feeling right now, especially in our black community. We encourage employees to speak openly when they disagree with the leadership. As we face more difficult decisions around the content that lies ahead, we will continue to seek honest feedback their".

The resentment among Facebook employees has risen in tandem with actions taken on Twitter over Trump's tweets. Last week, the network added a special fact-checking link to its publications, and also marked two presidential tweets as incorrect information. Trump sharply criticized Twitter's actions and then announced the drafting of legislation that would soften or repeal a section of the communications law that protects companies that hold social networks from lawsuits.

On Twitter, a presidential tweet also tweeted about the rioting as part of state-wide protests following Floyd's death, in which he wrote: "These thugs are disavowing Floyd's memory, and I won't let that happen. I spoke to Governor Tim Walls and told him that the army was with him throughout. We'll get control of every difficulty, but when the looting starts, the shooting starts. "

.... These THUGS are dishonoring George Floyd's memory, and I won't let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!

On the other hand, Facebook refrained from taking action on Trump publications. Last Friday, Zuckerberg wrote: "I deal with the response to the president's tweets and posts throughout the day. Personally, I have a negative reaction to this kind of inflammatory rhetoric, but I am responsible for the response as an institution leader committed to free expression."

CNN reported that Trump and Zuckerberg spoke on the phone on Friday, and yesterday the Facebook CEO wrote on his personal social networking profile that he knows the company under his management "needs to do more to support the equality and safety of the black community through our platforms." He added that Facebook would contact 10 million Dollars for racial justice groups.
