The fourth generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe has been on the streets for around two years. The Koreans have now announced a facelift for autumn - and reveal the first details.
Offenbach (dpa / tmn) - Hyundai has announced a facelift for its large off-road vehicle Santa Fe.
The competitor of SUVs such as VW Touareg and Toyota Land Cruiser will get a new design this autumn. Striking: the large, shiny radiator grille with lights directly connected to it. A T-shaped daytime running light now runs out in the lower lamp area.
The rear area has also been revamped - for example on the rear lights connected by a reflector band. Among other things, wider wheel arch linings are among the changes.
According to the manufacturer, there is a new cockpit with digital displays and more assistants for comfort and safety. The Koreans have also revised the chassis and lowered the center of gravity.
Hyundai has not yet given any details on the technology. But after the manufacturer has announced a broad wave of electrification for the next few years, the Santa Fe should also start with a hybrid drive in the future and take over the part-time electric car of the sister model Kia Sorento.
