As car traffic resumes on the roads of France, bad habits return quickly among those who slip behind the wheel. The French are among the most undisciplined drivers in Europe: 69% of them insult their peers behind the wheel (while the European average is only 56%) and 59% honk the drivers "inadvertently" annoy them ... (according to the 2019 European Barometer of Responsible Driving, carried out by IPSOS with 12,418 people in 11 European countries for the VINCI Autoroutes Foundation). Americans speak of "road rage" to designate this "road rage" which would seize the majority of men (96%), with an average age of 33 years, estimated in 2010 two American researchers in the journal Psychiatry.

Driving outbursts are even measured by specialists on a specific scale (“Driving Anger Scale”, or DAS), which makes it possible to highlight the driving situations that generate the most anger.
