The mutilated corpse of a 40-year-old dock worker was discovered this Friday morning in Montivilliers, near Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), reports Paris Normandie.
The victim had been kidnapped in the night from Thursday to Friday, around 1 a.m., when she was returning home, between Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc and Gruchet-le-Valasse. His wife immediately raised the alarm. A device had been deployed to try to find it.
"The victim was tortured"
The docker's body was found atrociously mutilated in the early morning, in a parking lot near the Jules-Collet school in Montivilliers. "The first findings are formal: the victim was tortured," said a source close to the investigation in the regional daily.
The dock worker was the subject of an indictment, in the context of the seizure of more than a ton of cocaine in the port of Le Havre.
The Havre public prosecutor's office entrusted the investigations to the Regional Judicial Police Service (SRPJ) of Rouen and to the gendarmes of the Research Section (SR) of Rouen. Findings are underway at the victim's home.
