He is suspected of having participated in the first escape project of Redoine Faïd. The police notably highlighted contacts between Jacques Mariani and Rachid Faïd, Redoine's big brother, who himself was indicted on Monday for these preparations. The Corsican thug would also have been, thanks to the help of an intermediary, in connection with Brahim, the eldest of the Faïd family, also indicted since last June 17.
