Thousands of Melbourne residents, living in several buildings in the north of the city, will have to stay home for at least five days starting this Saturday, July 4, after the discovery of 108 new cases of coronavirus in the State of Victoria (southeast), a record daily increase for months in Australia.

This new measure comes when more than 300,000 inhabitants of the second city of the country are already reconfigured from Wednesday until the end of July.
