Learn from Maple? Samsung may stop delivering luggage in its smartphone packaging starting in 2021, according to a report on Korean news site ETNews. Samsung estimates that buyers have enough chargers at home so even if we buy a new device we won't need their charger.
The report indicates that Samsung will stop packing the cargo in bulk, including older models already in stores. And if you think differently, Samsung, Samsung's biggest competitor, is still the one to set the trend, since a week and a half ago it was reported that the company would stop supplying iPhone chargers and headphones with a box to reduce device costs and keep prices virtually unchanged, $ 1,000.
Removing the luggage, and possibly the headphones, will allow the tech giants to reduce the size of the box, which will reduce distribution costs to stores, reduce environmental pollution (so they probably will) - and, in particular, allow them to ship more devices and increase sales.
