The calf spotted with its mother in December 2019 off Georgia (United States) was one of ten newborns spotted that year in the North Atlantic right whale species. His carcass was identified four months later by officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Six months old, he had deep propeller wounds and a rudder mark on the caudal fin. His death was attributed to a collision with a boat.
