When the convicted murderer calls in the studio Friday to keep protesters away from society, the irony seems to have been fatally wounded by a grenade thrown at her. The severity of his remarks does not even stem from the words of hatred, but from the fact that most of all, he, one who was there, knows that there will always be someone like him who knows what to do, and will be able to sleep well afterwards

In the video: 12 detainees in demonstrations against the Prime Minister of Jerusalem (Photo: Shai Makhlouf, Reuters and Israel Police spokeswoman, edited by Nir Chen)

Screwdriver for the neck at the Negev Gate, attack in Tel Aviv, tear gas at a junction in the center of the country, a glass bottle on his head in Jerusalem. Anyone who does not yet see the writing on the wall will not recognize it even if they write it in blood. Anyone who still deludes himself that the violence against the demonstrators is equivalent to the violence they use is burying his head in the soil of the Independence Garden, at an angle from which it is not seen what is really happening in Paris Square.

The return of two editions (Studio Friday at 12 and this week here at 11) to the abominable murder of Emil Grinzwig at the Peace Now demonstration in February 1983 is requested. Each is back to other protesters, each recognizing similarities between then and today. Whoever was there should not interpret when the signs are so familiar.

Yuval Steinitz stood out in his absence, once a left-wing demonstrator who was hit by shrapnel from a grenade thrown by Yona Abrushmi, and today, well, whoever compares performances in Rabin Square to actual violent attacks. Prominent in his presence: the killer himself, with an open face, to take out a mask on his face - to protect against the corona virus, before calling the protesters in Balfour "bacteria" and "disease spreaders", as echoed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. From a safe distance, Yigal Mosko talked to him, and discovered that there is a tactical, but not ideological, argument between the grenade launcher 35 years ago and the man facing him today.

I would not attribute too much to the words of Abrushmi, a man who denied and confessed and apologized and repeated it again. Moscow takes out very few words from it that are not "certain" and "what a question." But even this little reveals the mechanism of incitement, and how clear it is to everyone that its end has come true.

Abrushmi does not know why he did what he did. He knows how to identify only good and bad, according to dictated clichés. Every second sentence of his proves it. "Even today they are bacteria, there is no arguing about that," and bacteria need to be fought. "They are bad people, haters of Israel." Why did they have to throw a grenade at them? Moscow asks. "They did irrational things at all. What did they demonstrate? What did they demonstrate? Is this a demonstration of what they did? They incited, did things, do not know what they did, came with complaints, what is it?" These are the words of a man full of hatred, incapable of distinguishing between good and evil, allowed and forbidden. It all stems from the premise that on the other side are haters of Israel - what has been dripping with hatred spreaders for many years, eventually found its place. Everything else just does not interest him.

When a convicted murderer calls for the removal of protesters from society, the irony seems to have been fatally wounded by a grenade thrown at her. These are not words that have more value than any common talkback, and in any case he is not exactly a mentor and it is doubtful if he is able to convince anyone or if he has any fans. Hence, the severity of Abrushmi's words does not even stem from the words of swallowing and the words of hatred themselves, but from the fact that most of all, he, the one who was there, knows that there will always be someone like him who knew what to do, and would sleep well afterwards. Even today, certainly today, especially today.

"There are young guys, they would go there and they knew what to do," he says clearly. More young people, who do not need more of a relay to be implanted in their head by an instigator on duty, to know that they have a sacred mission. This is already clear to everyone. Yes, even Abrushmi sees the writing on the wall. It's hard to believe other people are not yet.
