The Audio Pro brand arrived in Israel from the ice countries and promises, as befits a Nordic company, that you will get exactly what you are looking for in a designed package • We tested two of the company's products at different prices • Are they worth the money? Depends on how you look at it

True audiophiles must have heard of the audio brand for home and business Audio Pro and may even have been happy to hear that it is now possible to purchase its products in Israel. As part of the launch in Israel, the importer and official representative of the Scandinavian company in Israel TR Electro Stereo invites the audience to be impressed by some of the company's flagship products, and we did not miss the opportunity to do it ourselves.

We tested two different products: The first - Audio Pro A10, a single round speaker with 360-degree technology. The second - Audio Pro A26, a smart stereo audio system consisting of two desktop speakers (also comes as floor-standing speakers, model A36).

Model A26 - Spectacular sound and luxurious design

For a pair of speakers that cost NIS 2,499, you can expect a lot. Indeed, these speakers offer mountains and promise hills, but sustain only some of them.

Keep in mind that when you buy the Audio Pro A26, you are not just paying for a beautiful design, which even includes connecting the outer grille to the speaker itself using magnets (caution: strong!) And a colorful indicator light, and not just for great sound (and we'll get back to that later) ). You also pay for end technology that includes, among other things, Bluetooth 5.0, the latest on the market with support for aptX technology, which improves the quality of sound and connection via Wi-Fi.

Wired connection options include an optical cable, HDMI ARC connection and a 3.5mm audio jack. You can of course also connect an external subwoofer to improve the low frequencies, a serious plus for those concerned as this is an option that does not exist for everyone, but if it is not too big a room, it really is not need.

One of the most interesting features of these speakers is an app that upgrades their use, increases control (e.g. volume and treble and bass volume), allows you to connect to additional speakers from the same company, as well as Spotify Connect and other digital music services and generally maximizes the experience Enjoying the sophisticated speakers. But as soon as you download the app, you will encounter a threatening message - a very low score of 2.4 stars.

Indeed, from the moment I installed the app, it only made me problems - fell and disconnected countless times without warning, until I raised my hands. After a careful reading of the instruction booklet (by the way, it is also frustratingly designed, with the languages not separated in different parts of the booklet but all four languages attached in the same instruction pages together) I discovered that connecting the speakers via WiFi is only possible on frequency 2.4 and not 5. Must take this In the account before buying.

Another big and beautiful plus is reflected in the remote that comes with the speakers. Beyond its spectacular design, one that is both fun to hold in your hand and fun to watch, the remote allows you to change the input source, control the volume, etc. One button that is absent from the remote for some reason is the MUTE button.

The speakers excel in exceptional sound, both in listening to music and in watching TV series and movies. The sound is deep and sharp and even surprising - turn down the volume of the speakers very much and you will not believe the subtleties you will hear, even at very low listening volume.

Without a doubt, the most important test, the A26 passes with great success. But is it worth NIS 2,499? Depends on how you look at it.

A10 - A completely different opera

First, one must dwell on the beautiful design of the speaker, which is more reminiscent of an ornamental object than a technology item, which tends to look cumbersome and heavy. The speaker is covered with a layer of beautifully meshed fabric, which gives it a modern and cozy design. Even in this case, the sound is surprising in its quality. Perhaps due to being produced in frozen Scandinavia and perhaps due to a hidden interior design - the speaker delivers a clean, fresh and really cool sound, like a pleasant breeze blowing in a room.

The speaker can be connected to an external player using a 3.5 mm cable. The most suitable use is for small rooms or computers. Although this is also a significant expense (NIS 799), but the compactness, design and quality make the expense more worthwhile. It supports In Bluetooth 4, it allows connection in WiFi, Apple AirPlay, and Spotify Connect.

The single speaker is less suitable for watching series and movies obviously, and yet can be a great compromise if it is used with you for many purposes. If you are, for example, a student who does not want to compromise on the quality of the sound and is interested in a speaker that will be easy to move from the living room to the bedroom, watching TV and music in the room, it is very possible that Audio Pro 10 is the product for you.
