The number of new infections in Brazil is increasing

12:49 a.m.: The number of new infections in Brazil is not decreasing . As the Ministry of Health announced, 55,155 new cases were registered within 24 hours. The number of confirmed infections rose to 3,164,785. Around 52,000 new infections were reported on Wednesday.

The number of new deaths, however, fell: Contrary to 1274 cases the previous day, 1175 people died within 24 hours as a result of an infection. The total number of fatalities rises to 104,201.
