After nearly eliminating Nokia, killing Windows Phone, and abandoning the smartphone world - Microsoft takes a huge gamble and launches the Surface Duo, the foldable smartphone it announced in October 2019. On the way it does what it should have done a decade ago - switch to the system Google's Android Activation.

The device has two screens with 5.6-inch AMOLED technology that rotate on a 360-degree axis and are capable of becoming an 8.1-inch tablet. The advantage: on each screen you can perform a different action.

Alongside this, it will come with a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128 or 256GB of storage. Want to take a picture? You will have to settle for a single sensor of 11 megapixel quality.

To keep their mark, the technology giant stressed that they made significant design changes to the version of the Android operating system that is installed on the device in order to be similar to Windows 10X, and adapted to work on two screens. It is expected to reach the shelves towards the end of 2020.
