Drive fast, accelerate rapidly - that's what everyone expects from a sports car with a tailgate adorned with the Aston Martin emblem.
However, the latest model from the traditional British brand really shows its strengths at four kilometers per hour.
Welcome to the Offroad Park at the Nürburgring.
Next to the legendary race track, there is a course designed to put off-road vehicles to the test just as hard as the "Green Hell" racing vehicles.
The Aston Martin DBX, the first all-wheel drive vehicle in the company's 107-year history, creeps down a loamy slope at walking pace.
With a 45 degree gradient it goes downhill, plus bumps and hollows.
When skiing, that would be a black slope.
For most all-wheel drive vehicles, the course is not a problem from a purely technical point of view, but it is for many drivers.
You would probably capitulate here, get off track, get stuck, tip over.
In the DBX, before entering the steep slope, you simply press a small button in the center console labeled "Mode" and set the speed on the steering wheel, the car does the rest.
