The streaming star Marcel Eris, known as MontanaBlack, has been banned from the Twitch streaming platform because of sexist content.
The media had previously reported that the 32-year-old from Buxtehude shared various sexist content on his Twitch account while on vacation in Malta.
Among other things, Eris commented in one of his videos with crude slogans on the body of a woman posing in the distance, of whom he took photos.
He also filmed in the street and commented on the looks of women with grunted noises.
MontanaBlack is the German user with the highest reach on the live streaming platform belonging to Amazon.
Just a few weeks ago, he announced on Twitter that he had more than three million followers on Twitch.
He became known by filming himself there while playing video games with commentary.
Eris was temporarily banned from Twitch in 2018 because of a racist pun.
In 2019, he was noticed with sexist expressions during a live broadcast, and later apologized for it.
Eris acknowledges mistakes
"At that moment it was just 'funny' and nobody should or was 'bothered' from my perception at the moment," said Eris on Twitter on Thursday about his stream.
Eris later wrote about the events in the video that he behaved wrongly.
Twitch locked Eris, he announced himself.
"33 days break is the response to my stupid and questionable behavior on the part of Twitch," he tweeted.
He will reflect on his behavior and behave differently in comparable situations in the future.
