Rape in the Sénart forest between 1995 and 2001: the voice of the deceased victims

Seven of the thirty-four women victims of the “rapist of the Sénart forest” have now died. At the bar, this Wednesday, the testimony

Seven of the thirty-four victims died before they could attend the trial.

The daughter of a victim thus discovered the ordeal experienced by her mother during this trial.

"We were watching a report devoted to the killer in the classifieds which had raged in Essonne at the same time and suddenly she burst into tears and told me what she had lived", continues Jacky.

Patricia is, chronologically, the second victim of the rapist on March 12, 1996. She was then 63 years old and a few weeks away from retirement.

"His daughter was in a way the direct witness of this attack," describes Me Arnaud Simonard, lawyer for the civil party.

She had accompanied her to the hospital in shock.

Afterwards, Patricia never mentioned it again.

My client remembers everything and the fact that she is now the same age as her mother was at the time of the assault causes a transference.

This event changed his life.

The lawyer continues: "She is especially present today so that her mother is not just a number in the list of victims."
