While a curfew will apply to Île-de-France and eight metropolises from Saturday, the second wave of the coronavirus continues in France.
The French Ministry of Health and Public Health indicate that 30,621 people have tested positive in the past 24 hours.
This is a record since the implementation of massive screening.
The positivity rate now stands at 12.6%.
At the same time, 88 people died in the hospital.

According to the ministry, 1,207 people have been hospitalized since yesterday, bringing the number of hospitalizations for Covid-19 to 9,605. 1,750 people are in intensive care, or 77 more than yesterday. 130 clusters have been identified in the last 24 hours. Now, 1,586 clusters are under investigation in the country.
