At top speed: The Chinese mobile phone maker has introduced a new technology that will smartly charge the smartphone in just 19 minutes • Watch the demo video
The charging capabilities of our smartphones are improving relatively slowly, and the various manufacturers are investing a lot in the field to find a way to save us quite a bit of time - and especially so that we do not wait in frustration for more than an hour for a full charge.
The latest to introduce its fast charging technology is Shiomi - and this time it's actually wireless charging.
The technology giant has announced that it will launch 80-watt high-speed wireless charging technology, which will be able to charge a phone with a 4,000mAh battery to fully charge in just 19 minutes, and in the future will integrate it in its smartphones.
How fast is technology?
In a demo video released by the company, you can see that the smartphone reaches a charge of 10% of the battery in a little more than a minute, 50% of the battery within 8 minutes of charging, and 100% of charging in just 19 minutes.
Last July, the Chinese cellular manufacturer iQOO, a brand of Vivo, first introduced technology that is considered the fastest in the world with a power of 120 watts. The company showed how a 4,000 mAh battery was able to charge physically from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes, and then to 100% in 10 minutes in total.
