The ranking of the best high-tech companies to work for is published this year for the sixth time.

The ranking is based on extensive research, conducted by Dun & Bradstreet and examined hundreds of high-tech companies and startups.

As part of the study, HR managers were contacted and a variety of parameters were examined, such as: the employee's ability to influence, the technological environment, career development and employee retention, the work environment experience, conditions and employee satisfaction.

At the same time, a questionnaire was also sent to the employees themselves, and their satisfaction was tested on a variety of parameters (terms of employment, professional challenge, ability to influence, work-house balance and more).

Employees and human resource managers were also asked who, in their view, are the best high-tech companies to work for (regardless of their place of work).

The findings of the comprehensive study were weighted for the final rankings.

Among the salient findings: Facebook continues to lose power and drops to 8th place, Internet company SimilarWeb drops from 12th place to 29th place, SalesForce was ranked for the first time this year and went straight into 10th place.

One of the parameters: how companies dealt with the crisis.

Efrat Segev (Photo: Niv Kantor)

Efrat Segev, VP of Data and Analysis at Dun & Bradstreet: "The ranking of the best high-tech companies to work for, published for the sixth year, was held this year in the shadow of the Corona crisis, with one of the most important parameters we examined being how companies coped with the crisis." On the satisfaction of their employees.

The rated companies very quickly realized that the concern for employee well-being at this time shifted from focusing on designed offices with pampering conditions, to focusing on the employee's home environment - addressing physical needs while working from home and supporting employee families and the new challenges this period provides.

The rapid adaptation to the needs of the period was also reflected in the activities of contributing to the community and the support for the state's response to the crisis, with many companies making impressive and significant moves.

There is no doubt that the Corona crisis was a defining event in the relationship between the companies and their employees, and we clearly saw that companies' ability to be transparent and provide certainty to their employees at the time helped strengthen employee trust and commitment, which are significant parameters in maintaining employee satisfaction and company success.
