Preparations are underway for the wedding between PSA and FCA. The management of Peugeot SA announced this morning that the extraordinary shareholders' meeting called to express their opinion on the merger between the two groups will be held remotely on January 4, 2021 starting at 11 am. In a note released in Paris, it is also specified that "a special meeting of Psa shareholders holding double voting rights will always be held on January 4, 2021 at 10 am to resolve on the operation" which will give life to Stellantis. "The agenda and the draft resolutions that will be submitted to the vote of the shareholders as well as the methods of participation in the General Meetings were made public today in the Bulletin of legal announcements and can be consulted on the group's website under the heading General Meetings" , PSA specifies, adding that in the current "evolutionary context of the Covid-19 epidemic and the fight against its spread, the company could be led to change the methods of participation in these meetings by deciding to keep them behind closed doors". Shareholders are therefore invited to regularly consult the section of the website dedicated to the General Meeting to find out about updates on the modalities of participation. In recent days, PSA confirmed that the merger with iat-Chrysler "should take place by the end of the first quarter of 2021", in compliance with "the usual closing conditions, which include the green light from the shareholders of both companies in their respective extraordinary general meetings as well as compliance with antitrust and other regulatory rules ". The wedding will give life to the fourth manufacturer in the world in terms of volumes and the third based on turnover. United, the two groups aim to face the great challenges of the future, with the aim, among other things, of contributing to a new era of sustainable mobility. The headquarters of the future Stellantis - which among the brands in its portfolio will have for example Fiat and Chrysler, Peugeot and Citroen - will be in the Netherlands and will be listed on Euronext (Paris), Borsa Italiana (Milan) and the New York Stock Exchange.
