An extracurricular animator is accused of rape and sexual assault on children of a nursery school in the 3rd district of Paris by parents who obtained the relaunch of the investigation, we learned Monday from a judicial source, confirming information from Mediapart.
According to the news site, an investigation was opened in early 2019 after the statements of a three-year-old child targeting an animator at his nursery school.
Three families first filed a complaint, and the 37-year-old extracurricular animator, in post since the start of the 2018 school year, was suspended in February 2019.
"Malfunctions"
The investigation, entrusted to the brigade for the protection of minors (BPM) in Paris, was initially closed on June 7, 2019. “Following the classification without action, we sent a letter to the public prosecutor of Republic reporting a certain number of dysfunctions ”during the first investigation, explains Me Marie Grimaud, who represents with three other councils the families of the presumed small victims.

“New reports in the summer (2019), subsequent to the classification decision, led (the Paris prosecutor's office) to initiate a judicial investigation against X for sexual assault” on minors on September 10, 2019, indicates a judicial source.
Thirteen children auditioned
The investigation, entrusted by an investigating judge to the Central Office for the Repression of Violence against Persons (OCRVP), was extended to acts of rape concerning a child last August, according to the same source.
According to Me Grimaud, "there are currently fourteen children who have become civil parties" through their parents and new families will report to justice "in the coming days, the coming weeks".
About twenty children are affected by the actions of the extracurricular facilitator, according to the lawyer.
Thirteen of the fourteen children were auditioned last September.
