A special series by Aston Martin to celebrate one of the British manufacturer's most successful racing cars.

The series for collectors is called Vantage Legacy Collection and was conceived in reference to the period between 2009 and 2018, that is the one that brought Aston Martin two victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (in 2014 and 2017) and seven FIA World Endurance Championship titles, as well as numerous international titles.

The trio of Legacy Vantages, based on the V8 Vantage road car launched in 2005, was created in the workshops of Aston Martin Racing and is now on sale.

The trio includes a V8 Vantage GTE, a V12 Vantage GT3 and Vantage GT4.

All three models were set up on race-ready chassis and were fitted with the green livery with the yellow Aston Martin badge.

The Vantage GT4 was the first racing car created around the architecture of the VH era.

It made its debut in 2009 and, by the end of 2018, Aston Martin Racing had built 107 cars, winning international races and championships around the world.

Many of these cars are still competing today.

The car in the collection is number 108 and the last car produced.

The V12 Vantage GT3 followed the GT4 three years later, making its debut in 2012. It soon became the dominant car in the British GT championship, winning overall titles in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018, proving its competitiveness until it was not replaced by the new Vantage in 2019. In seven years, up to the end of 2017, 46 cars were built.

The V8 Vantage GTE made its debut with the Aston Martin Racing team in 2012 at Sebring, taking its maiden win in the finals of the FIA World Endurance Championship in Shanghai in October of the same year.

Only six V8 Vantage GTEs were originally built and that of the collection is the seventh and last car produced, chassis number 007.

"For a collector," said Aston Martin Racing president David King, "this trio of Aston Martin Racing Vantages represents the latest tribute to an important period for the brand in international sporting competition. While Aston Martin has since continued to Record world titles with the current turbo-generation V8 Vantage, the foundation laid by the great success of the original car has won fans all over. "
