If you consider that city cars in Europe travel an average of 30 kilometers a day, the autonomy of Twingo Electric allows you to make urban journeys for a whole week without the need to 'fill up' with energy practically what you do with a small town in thermal version.

And for those who want even more from this point of view, sacrificing a little acceleration and top speed, Twingo Electric is equipped with Eco Mode: it is activated by means of a button located on the center console and allows you to cover about 225km on routes with a charge. mixed.

The qualities of Twingo Electric when it comes to 'topping up' the battery derive - like many other electrical details - from the experiences made with the other BEV of the Losanga, the Zoe.

This is the case of the Caméléon smart charger - patented by Renault - which allows charging at home, in the office or in infrastructures using alternating current (AC) up to 22 kW.

This technology allows it to adapt to the power available on the individual columns to obtain maximum energy in the shortest possible time.

Twingo Electric can thus count on an optimal recharge time on each type of socket, shortening the time up to four times compared to competing cars.

This is the case of a typical urban situation: a half-hour break - and the Twingo connected to a 22 kW column, the most widespread on the public network - is enough to acquire up to 80 kilometers of autonomy in a mixed cycle.

But Twingo Electric is not only relaxing in situations of stress and difficulty (such as access to the ZTL which in this case is free) but has also been designed to make driving experiences in an urban environment fun.

The click of its engine and the introduction of new specific driving modes make it practically unbeatable in restarts at traffic lights: the transition from 0 to 50km / h takes only 4 seconds and the top speed of 135 km / h allows it to circulate in complete tranquility on extra-urban roads and highways

Twingo Electric features the B Mode driving mode which allows it to adapt to traffic conditions and the roads traveled by acting on the energy recovery modes in deceleration.

It is possible to choose between 3 levels (B1, B2, B3) directly from the gear lever.

The most extreme setting simplifies city driving by limiting the use of the brake and increasing driving comfort.

On the other hand, the softer adjustment, which lets the car keep going without losing momentum - almost as if by inertia - is particularly suitable for urban sliding axes.

The intermediate level, which is selected by default, induces a moderate deceleration, the one most able to respond to different daily driving situations.

Quiet inside, Twingo Electric instead offers a perceptible sound outside for maximum safety of pedestrians and cyclists.

It is Zoe's warning device and allows you to select up to three types of sound signals, the intensity of which varies according to speed.

This system is deactivated above 30km / h, when the noise emitted by the rolling of the tires and the air flow becomes sufficient to signal the presence of the car.



Equipped with five doors, a flat floor and a fully reclining passenger seat, Twingo Electric also offers a cargo length of 2.31 meters in the cockpit.

The trunk volume is also unchanged from the petrol version: 240 liters.
