Hospitals received 1,988 new patients with Covid-19, 329 more than the day before.

The positivity rate continues to increase to 6.7% on Tuesday against 6.6% the day before and 6.5 last week.

35.5% of the doses received (1,651,000) were used.
The Covid-19 epidemic has reduced life expectancy in France by several months, INSEE also indicated on Tuesday in its 2020 demographic report. Life expectancy at birth reaches 85.2 years for women ( down almost five months) and 79.2 years for men (down six months), a much sharper decline than that observed in 2015, a year marked by a severe winter flu.
