An 18-year-old medical student was briefly taken into custody in Lille on Friday after organizing a party with 60 people in her apartment, we learned from a police source, confirming information from La Voix du Nord.

Warned by several calls from residents for noise at night, the police intervened shortly after midnight in an apartment on the rue Nationale, in the Vauban district, told AFP the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of the North.
According to the regional daily, the young woman admitted to having been overwhelmed by events.
She explained to the police in particular that she had organized a housewarming party, but only planned to invite ten people.

However, on the spot, the police noted the "presence of several dozen students in the common areas".
In total, around sixty people were fined for non-compliance with the curfew.
An 18-year-old medical student who declared herself to be the organizer of the evening said "she was overwhelmed by the number of participants," said the DDSP.

She was taken into custody for endangering the lives of others, before being released.
