Several individuals infiltrated the Nantes hospital, on the night of Thursday to Friday, to release a young man who had intercepted

Funny "show" at the Nantes University Hospital Center (CHU), on the night of Thursday to Friday.

A group of several people infiltrated there to free a 23-year-old young man who had been arrested a few hours earlier by the police.

Eight complaints were filed.

At the wheel of a Mercedes driving at high speed in the city, the young man had been stopped in his course, in the evening, by the police officers using a harrow.

He then lost control of his vehicle and could be stopped, just like his passenger.

Complaining of stomach pain, he had been taken to the hospital.

An individual arrested

Later, at around 1 a.m., individuals entered the same hospital and attacked staff members as well as police officers monitoring the driver.

The latter was able to be "released" and escape.

Outside, "about fifteen individuals protected the flight" of this man, specifies the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Loire-Atlantique.

According to Ouest-France, most of the troops fled in two vehicles which left at full speed.

Only one person - a 21-year-old young man - who entered the CHU was arrested and taken into custody, as was the passenger in the vehicle.

Three police complaints

Three complaints from police officers, one of whom suffered a knee injury, were filed as well as five by hospital staff for violence.

In a statement, Unsa-police deplored "once again that police officers are injured in the performance of their duties in Nantes", considering that the officials were confronted "with a commando which did not hesitate to violently attack the police to free one of their own ”.
