Iran's spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has published an undisguised threat directed at former US President Donald Trump on one of his Twitter accounts.

The tweet includes an aerial photo of a person who bears similarities to Trump playing golf.

A shadow that resembles a stealth bomber is approaching overhead.

The text above the picture begins with the words: “Vengeance is inevitable.

The killer of Solaimani and the commander of this murder must be punished. ”The text refers to the killing of Qasem Soleimani, the commander of Tehran's Quds Brigades, by an American missile attack.

Soleimani was considered the Khamenei second most powerful man in Iran.

The attack on him was based on instructions from Donald Trump, the US Department of Defense said at the time.

In Khamenei's tweet it goes on: “You have made a mistake and must be punished for it.

Let the murderer and his commander know that they will receive their just punishment when the time is right «.

Ali Chamenei had already posted a similar threat on December 16 on another Twitter account, but at the time via an English-speaking account with almost 885,000 followers.

The new threat, however, was published on an account that has little more than 8000 followers and tweets in Farsi.

Regardless, there is a very large number of comments under the tweet in question.

In addition to many who join the threats, there are also some who make fun of it, but especially those who ask Twitter or Twitter founder Jack Dorsey why this tweet has not yet been deleted.

Twitter recently removed a tweet from one of Ali Khamenei's accounts.

Specifically, it was about a contribution from the beginning of January in which the corona vaccines from the USA and Great Britain were described as "not trustworthy".

The reason given by the company was that the post violated Twitter's guidelines for dealing with false information about the corona pandemic.
