First electric high-performance SUV, Jaguar soul and cutting-edge technology.
These are the main ingredients of the Jaguar I-Pace recipe, the first fully electric high-performance SUV in the world and which in its latest evolution has also adopted a new infotainment system, as well as a faster charging system, to the benefit of the comfort and ease of use of an electric vehicle.
A story, that of I-Pace, also full of awards since its debut, with a total of about eighty awards collected, including the World Car of the Year, the World Car Design of the Year and the World Green Car in the 2019. The basic recipe is then joined by elements such as the aluminum structure, the low center of gravity and the two Jaguar electric motors on each axle, which produce a power of 400 hp and 696 Nm of torque.
As if to say, great road performance, agility, luxury and design applied to the four wheels.
The I-Pace was also the first Jaguar to introduce the new Pivi Pro infotainment system, designed to be intuitive to use as a smartphone, starting with speed and an enhanced navigation system that can show availability and the usability of nearby charging stations, their cost and the time required for charging (which varies according to the country).
The electric 'jaguar' also offers as standard an 11 kW on-board charger which, if a three-phase supply is available, allows customers to enjoy significantly faster charging.
By connecting the car to an 11 kW wall box, 53 km of range can be obtained for each hour of recharging (WLTP cycle), while only 8.6 hours are required to charge the vehicle from scratch, ideal for home charging during the night.
Even customers using the 7 kW single-phase wall boxes can take advantage of advantageous times, reaching 35 km of autonomy per hour, while 12.75 hours are required for a full recharge.
During a trip, with a 50 kW charger you will have 63 km of autonomy in just 15 minutes of charging and, in the same amount of time, you will be able to reach 127 km of autonomy with a 100 kW charger.
For air quality on board, I-Pace now has an ionizer with a PM2.5 filtration system capable of capturing fine dust: allergens and airborne particles.
The car can also filter the air at the start of each journey.
The exterior design, on the other hand, has recently been enriched by a new Atlas Gray finish for the grille, as well as by the renewed color range and an optional luxurious Bright Pack, available on all models.
