The verdict is in.
According to our information, the blogger Aqababe, whose real name is Aniss Zitouni, was sentenced to four months' imprisonment with an eighteen-month probationary suspension by the Nanterre judicial court after threatening to kill the columnist of " Don’t touch my post” Guillaume Genton.
At the end of November 2023, a few days after suffering a violent attack at his home in Hauts-de-Seine, Aqababe was invited to the set of Cyril Hanouna's show on C8.
He then had a slight clash on the set with the columnist Guillaume Genton, who informed him that he had “a business which could cause problems”.
Aqababe has made a name for himself on social networks by revealing scoops on the world of reality TV.
In the days following the broadcast, Guillaume Genton was then targeted by anonymous threatening messages on his cell phone.
“Protect your head well and be careful when you leave your house in the 16th century, and protect the belly of your wife the whore”, for example, he received.
Ban on contact with Guillaume Genton
The TPMP columnist then filed a complaint, strongly suspecting Aqababe of being the author of these threats.
Placed in police custody, the young blogger then admitted the facts.
This police custody was also declared null and void by the judge on Thursday, Aniss Zitouni not having been able to obtain the medication he had requested before beginning his interview with the police.
During the eighteen months of probation, Aqababe is prohibited from coming into contact with Guillaume Genton.
In addition to his prison sentence, he was ordered to pay 2,800 euros to the TPMP columnist as well as to his partner in view of the damage suffered by the couple.
Contacted by Le Parisien, Me Tom Michel, Aqababe lawyer, said he was satisfied with the verdict rendered by the Nanterre judicial court on Thursday.
After recalling the “fragility” of his client’s state at the time of the events, he assures that the latter now calls for “serenity”.
