The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today the nominations for the Oscar ceremony, which will be held this year for the 96th time.
As expected, "Oppenheimer" stars with a large number of nominations.
"Barbie" is also nominated in many categories, including best picture, but is not nominated for director or in the leading actress category.
The French "Anatomy of a Fall" by Justin Trey.
Picked up nominations in the category of film, direction and original screenplay.
And the local point: the Israeli "Letter to Pig" by Tal Kantor is nominated in the short animation film category, and "Golda" by Guy Nativ is nominated for make-up.
